It's hard to resist looking at before and after images of stunning home renovations! There is an art in taking a neglected and rundown house and transforming it into a picturesque country home perfect for young family.
BEFORE . .
From an outdated exterior and neglected to a broken kitchen and mismatched interior, this house was in need of a complete overhaul.
AFTER . .
The Exterior
The exterior of the house was given a complete transformation with weatherboards installed to update the look and feel to tie in with the country setting. Old windows were removed and new, larger double hung windows installed in it’s place.
The roof was restored, refinished and repainted to both update, repair and match the new style of the property.
THE INTERIOR
With the exterior work to the house completed and new windows and doors fitted, we completely demolished the kitchen and bathroom, removed carpets and drapes to begin our work on a clean canvas.
Where required, walls were replastered, skirting boards and architraves were updated as well as new flooring and carpets installed throughout. The old coonara was removed and new fireplace installed to add character and tie in with the period of the home.
The kitchen was redesigned with custom cabinetry installed to make use of the small space, opening it up and allowing for adequate storage with overhead cupboards, stainless steel appliances and new farmhouse sink and tap-ware.
In the bedrooms built in wardrobes were installed featuring a mirror sliding door to give the appearance of the room being larger.
New blinds were installed throughout the home, custom designed by the Love It Styling team.
