Fundraiser 2019
/Every year, Love It Styling, together with Love It Landscaping, work together to hold an annual fundraiser for Miracle Babies Foundation. Miracle Babies Foundation is Australia’s leading organisaiton supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them, and is an agency very close to our hearts.
Since 2005, Miracle Babies Foundation has been passionate in developing and providing vital programs and resources to support and enhance a family’s experience from a threatened pregnancy, hospital journey with a premature or sick newborn, the transition to home and beyond.
Every year in Australia around 48,000 newborn babies require the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN). 27,000 of these babies are born premature and up to 1,000 babies lose their fight for life.

So Why Miracle Babies?

Both Troy and myself have had three premature babies. The roller-coaster, pressure and stress of having babies prematurely is huge and takes a toll more than one would every believe. Our journey was long and painful. Our twins were born four months early, at a tiny 24 weeks. Our son Zane sadly lost his battle after a difficult two weeks. Our daughter Bailey was in hospital for over 6 months before we were finally able to bring her home.
Bailey has had a very long journey to get to where she is now. She has now grown into a healthy, gorgeous girl and is 6 years old and doing amazing! Two years after our twins were born, our son Levi was born prematurely at 29 weeks. Not only was he born very early, his birth was life threatening to both him and myself. He is now an adventurous three year old, excelling in life and ability.
Having three babies, all so prematurely was life changing. Our children are miracle babies. They inspire us every day and are our heroes.
For families, the experience of having a baby come into the world not as expected or planned is life changing. Without support, this overwhelming and traumatic experience can have lifelong effects on the emotional well-being of these miracle families. This is why the Miracle Babies Foundation is so close to our hearts. We have organisations like the Miracle Babies Foundation to thank for the amazing, life-changing work that they do. We feel it is, both our honour and our duty to raise funds for the miracle work they do for miracle families all throughout Australia.
How Can I Help?
Every year, we hold a fundraising event night for Miracle Babies Foundation. This fundraiser is happening again in March 2019 and we would love for you to attend to help and support this great cause. Last year we raised an amazing $19,026.49 and we couldn’t have done it without the help our amazing supporters, friends, family and clients.
We are also accepting donations for auction and raffle for the night. If you have a service or product that you’d like to donate, please contact our office today.
