I: Rebecca, what are some of the very first things you need to think of before you even begin to look at venues?
R: First and foremost, I always recommend thinking about the aesthetic that you want to achieve for your wedding and ensuring that you have that well thought out before venue selecting. Whether it is the reception or the ceremony location, always opt for a venue that will fit in and accentuate your desired theme.
Know your budget! This will save a lot of headaches and of course, potential heartaches down the track. Are you wanting an all inclusive service or a venue that is flexible in allowing you to bring in other vendors? Find out exactly what your venue will and won’t allow you to do and price it out. Always allow for a little wiggle room in your budget.
I: What are some of your favourite venues in Melbourne for weddings this season?
R: Where do I begin! For elegant and sophisticated weddings, we are absolutely loving The Dome in Collins Street Melbourne. This venue has an absolutely breathtaking space and can accommodate a decent amount of guests. We love the flexibility that they offer so that you can bring in a caterer of your choice to truly create the wedding of your dreams.
We are also loving Vue De Monde at the Rialto. A stunning venue that gives you incredible views of Melbourne CBD with exceptional catering - a true experience.
I: Can you recommend any caterers in Melbourne ?
R: Yes absolutely, we are loving working with ACC Catering in Melbourne. They create a truly wonderful meal and boast award winning excellence. They work really hard to wow your guests and provide a high-end result, every time.
I: As a wedding stylist, when do you recommend engaging your services?
R: We always recommend engaging the use of a stylist at the start of your wedding preparations. One of the great things about hiring our services is that every aspect of your wedding will flow seamlessly together. From wedding venues to floral decor, there is no detail left unchecked. We have styled some incredible weddings over the years and there is nothing quite as satisfying as seeing the happy couple overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and wonder of their wedding day.
